How cold is too cold? How hot is too hot? NYSUT reminds its members that “New York State building codes require occupied buildings to be at a minimum of 65 degrees during the heating season. The districts need to follow state regulations by providing an appropriate comfort level for their employees.” There is, however, no maximum temperature standard for buildings under current state law. |
